About the Plant-A-Tree Programme

Caring for trees and the environment is our social responsibility. The Plant-A-Tree Programme is a platform for organisations and individuals to actively participate in the greening of our City in Nature by planting trees.

Every tree planted will also contribute to the OneMillionTrees movement to plant one million more trees across Singapore over ten years till 2030. This aims to restore nature back to our city and redouble our efforts to green our urban infrastructure.

Why is Tempur running this campaign?

As part of Tempur’s global environmental sustainability efforts and in celebration of SG60, Tempur would like to make a contribution to our environment in Singapore together with our customers. By working together, we can all play a part to make Singapore greener.

How can I qualify?

As a customer, how will my purchase support Singapore's natural heritage and sustainability?

For every qualifying customer, Tempur will donate $300 in your name to the Garden City Fund, a registered charity and IPC established by the National Parks Board (NParks), to plant a tree.

There will be a private tree planting event organised by the charity for Tempur customers, during which you will be able to plant your own tree. This event will be open to the first 50 qualifying customers who indicate their interest to us. Spots are limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Can you tell me more about the private tree planting event that will be organised for Tempur customers?

A private tree planting event will be organised for 50 Tempur customers. You will be able to experience planting your own tree during the event.

Location: Sengkang East Way (Exact location will be provided only to confirmed participants)

If you are interested to participate in this event, please indicate your interest while filling up the “Release of personal data” form. Spots are limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis to the first 50 qualifying customers who indicate their interest.

After the end of the campaign on 8 August 2025, our Customer Service Team will get in touch directly with the customers who have indicated their interest via whatsapp / email to confirm your attendance by 19 August 2025.

What happens in case of wet weather on the tree planting event day?

In case of wet weather, the event will be cancelled. There will be no rescheduled date provided. NParks will plant the trees on our behalf during more favourable weather conditions instead.

What if I postpone my delivery?

If you postpone your delivery beyond 8 August 2025, you will no longer be able to qualify for the campaign, i.e. Tempur will not proceed with the donation in your name.

Can I enjoy associated tax deduction benefits for the donation made in my name?

Besides contributing to enhancing greenery in Singapore, you could also be eligible to receive a 2.5 times tax deduction on the donated amount, subject to IRAS' guidelines.

Customers who wish to claim the tax deduction benefit will be required to fill in a “Release of personal data” form which will be made available to you at your point of purchase. Your full name as per NRIC/FIN and full NRIC/FIN number is required. At the end of the campaign, your details will be shared with the Garden City Fund for submission to IRAS and the tax deduction of 2.5 times the donated amount will be automatically reflected in your tax assessment the following year for qualifying donations.

Can I choose for the tree to be planted in another party’s name?

Yes you can do so. If you wish for the tree to be planted in another party’s name, you will have to fill in their full name and NRIC/FIN number in the “Release of personal data” form instead of your own.
